In progress: Clavetaires
Present
This 1880s house in Campdevànol is being carefully restored after years of disuse. The goal from the start has been to respect its historic charm while reimagining it as a bright, functional space for contemporary living.
Once a neighborhood shop, the ground floor still holds its original character: hydraulic tile floors, a walk-in fridge, and iron shopfront doors with their original signage. Every layer tells a piece of the building’s history, and much of the work here focuses on uncovering those stories and giving them new purpose.
Beneath the floors and behind the walls we’ve found traces of past lives: old wiring, wooden frames, and fragments of tile that now inform the design palette. We’re reusing what we can, always aiming to honor what was already here rather than erase it.
